How do our agreements work?
For our standard marketing programs — Signal Spark, Climb, and Peak — we begin with a focused 3-month initial term to build momentum, then shift to a rolling month-to-month structure (either party can cancel with 30 days' written notice after the initial term). For our high-asset tiers (Alta, Apex) and localized mountain packages (Basecamp, Crest, Summit), we establish a 6-month initial term. Because we reserve your industry in your town — for the duration of your active agreement, we will not provide our services to another business in your industry in your town — and invest heavily in your onboarding and market setup up front, this initial term secures and protects the market position you're paying for. Package pricing, discounts, and tier services apply only while your retainer is active.
What is the deposit and payment structure?
A 50% deposit is due before any work begins. The remaining 50% is due on the 15th of Month 1. From Month 2 onward, the full retainer is due on the 1st of each month. Payment is accepted via Stripe, ACH, or check.
Do I need to provide access to my email platform?
Yes — for email campaigns, automation, and template setup, we work directly in your Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, ActiveCampaign, or ConvertKit account. We never send emails from our own platforms. Everything goes out from your domain and your account. You must approve every campaign before it is scheduled.
Who publishes the blog posts and social content?
You do — unless you add Content Posting Management (from $250/mo). For most packages, content is delivered to your Google Drive folder and you publish it to your website and social channels. With the posting add-on we publish your already-approved content into your own accounts, on schedule. Posting covers publishing only — it does not include managing replies, comments, or direct messages on your social accounts.
Do you manage replies and messages on my social accounts?
No — responding to comments and messages on your accounts isn't a service we offer; that conversation belongs with you and your customers. If a package includes collecting inbound information for you, we forward it to you to act on. If we publish a post for you and something in the posting needs fixing, we handle it; if you publish content yourself, any corrections are yours to make. Deliverables can be adjusted month to month if something isn't working — those changes apply going forward and don't rewrite content already produced.
Who owns the content once it is delivered?
You do — fully and permanently — upon receipt of full payment for each month's services. This includes all written content, logos, websites, brand identity documents, and any other deliverables. Alta Signal Co retains no rights to any content after payment is received.
Can I upgrade or add services during my contract?
Yes. You can upgrade to a higher tier or add project services and add-ons at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing month. Upgrades are documented in writing and reflected in an updated agreement or addendum.
